Where does the quality of Laumee tissue come from?
When using a paper towel, what the user feels most clearly is the softness, absorbency or toughness when wiping. But those properties don’t naturally appear in the finished product.
Behind a sheet of tissue is a combination of material, paper structure, finishing technology and quality control process.
With Laumee, the story of quality starts with what makes up the paper.

Virgin pulp – the foundation for creating paper towels
A paper towel first needs a suitable source of raw materials.
Laumee uses 100% natural virgin pulp for products according to the announcement of each line. The source of primary fibers is the foundation for forming the structure of the paper, thereby creating the characteristics the user feels during use.
Besides materials, the origin of raw materials is also a part Laumee focuses on. Laumee’s ingredients are FSC® certified, associated with sourcing ingredients from responsibly managed forests.
FSC® is not a criterion to conclude that tissues are softer or more absorbent. The value of certification lies in providing clearer information about the origin and responsibility in the raw material supply chain.
The paper structure creates a soft feel and absorbency
The material is the starting point, but for a tissue to have the right usage experience, the way the paper fibers are structured is also important.
Laumee uses Cloud Pockets – a structure consisting of small empty spaces between layers of paper. These spaces create more space to hold liquid, while also contributing to a softer feel when applied.
It can be simply imagined: instead of a completely solid paper surface, the Cloud Pockets structure creates small “cavities” in the paper, supporting the process of holding and absorbing liquid.
This is one of the factors that helps Laumee strike a balance between softness and absorbency in the usage experience.
Do not use OBA
All Laumee products do not contain fluorescent whitening agents (Optical Brightening Agent – OBA).
OBA is commonly used in some paper products to create a brighter white effect by influencing visible light. With paper towels having direct contact with the skin, controlling the ingredients used in the product is a factor worth paying attention to.
Therefore, 0% OBA is noteworthy information when users choose tissue paper for frequent skin contact needs.
From materials and technology to what users feel
When placing the above elements next to each other, it can be seen that each element plays a different role.
100% natural virgin pulp
→ material foundation of the product.
Cloud Pockets
→ creates structure with small voids, supporting water retention and contributing to a soft feel.
0% OBA in declared products
→ Do not use fluorescent whitening agents.
It all ultimately comes down to what users care about when using a tissue: soft, absorbent and suitable for skin contact, depending on the product line.
But quality isn’t just about what can be seen
A tissue product may have the right material and structure, but to maintain stable quality, the product still needs to be controlled during production and before it goes to market.
At Laumee, products are controlled according to the respective quality requirements during production and finished products.
Characteristics of interest to users such as softness, toughness and absorbency need to be evaluated using appropriate testing methods, rather than relying solely on visual perception or a single parameter on the packaging.
This is also where testing and inspection records and standards applied to the product become the basis for quality control.
Packaging is also part of the quality journey
Once finished and inspected, tissue paper needs to be protected during storage and transportation.
Packaging helps limit impacts from the outside environment, keep the product clean and protect the tissue until the user opens the package.
Therefore, a finished product does not stop at the paper meeting the requirements. The packaging stage also needs to be checked for specifications, quantity and packaging condition before the product is put on the market.
When choosing tissue paper, don’t just look at one parameter
When choosing paper towels, users can start from their own needs.
If you frequently come into contact with skin, you may be interested in softness and information about ingredients and materials.
If wiping or soaking up liquids is necessary, absorbency and toughness are more of a concern.
If you want to understand the product more deeply, you can see the source of raw materials, paper structure, applied technologies and accompanying standards, certifications or testing records.
No single parameter can describe the entire quality of a tissue. What is important is whether those factors are suitable for usage needs or not.
The quality of Laumee tissue paper is made up of many factors
A sheet of tissue starts with material, is completed with appropriate structure and technology, is inspected before packaging and is protected during the process of reaching the user.
With Laumee, 100% natural virgin pulp, FSC® certified raw materials, Cloud Pockets technology and products with 0% OBA declaration are factors that contribute to the user experience of each product line.
Together with the quality control and packaging processes, it all creates a complete product – so that when holding a Laumee tissue in their hands, users not only see a sheet of paper, but can understand what lies behind it.
